A CNC program can be tested with a Program Test.
After the program has been entered on the machine, the program is loaded from the program manager into the Program Test. There are also settings such as process speed and tools need to be displayed.
Now the simulation can be started with the button Reset + Start. In the simulation you can now see if all program steps are processed. On the left of the display you can see the sequence of the individual sentences and on the right the processing on the workpiece.
The second part of the video shows a run of a Program Test, it includes both the milling of lines and round milling. Some of the milling codes used in the Program Test are explained. But there is also a list of milling codes and their meanings at the end of the first part of the video. Source of the list contents is a CNC Cookbook.
