Screw and bolt technology

Modern industrial screw and bolt technology is much more than „just screwing“. In the course of screwing with electrically driven power screwdrivers information about the screwed or bolted joint is collected and stored. The stud torques are recorded, as a measure how strong the respective screw or bolt has been tightened. Additionally, the number of revolutions of each screw or bolt is counted and documented in order to be informed, if the screw or bolt has been screwed in as deep as planned. If, for instance, the number of revolutions is smaller than expected, it could be possible that the screw fits askew, or that the threaded hole is blocked, or the screw or bolt is too short…
